Every WaterHygiene job follows the same documented sequence — no shortcuts, no skipped steps, no subcontractors. Every time.
A quick 4-point prep checklist. Takes you 10 minutes — and it ensures our team can do the job right the first time.
Switch off the water pump/motor at least 2 hours before our arrival. This ensures the tank level is stable and there's no inflow during the drain stage.
If you have both overhead and sump tanks, we start with the overhead tank. Arrange access to the terrace or tank room before our team arrives.
Ensure clear access to the tank opening, terrace or tank room, and a power socket nearby for our equipment. No access = no clean.
A WaterHygiene team member will walk you through each step before starting. Be available for 5 minutes at the beginning. We believe in full transparency.
Our mechanised deep-clean process follows the same sequence for every job — residential, apartment, or commercial.
Our team begins by fully evacuating all standing water using high-pressure plunger pumps. This includes surface debris and initial loose sediment. No water is left standing — the tank must be bone dry before scrubbing begins.
Rotating hard-brush scrubbers are run across every internal surface: walls, corners, floor, and the inlet/outlet area. Algae film, calcium scale, and biofilm are mechanically broken down — not just chemically suppressed. Physical removal is the only reliable method.
An industrial wet-dry vacuum collects all dislodged sludge, sediment, and organic matter. Unlike a simple rinse-and-drain, vacuum extraction ensures contamination is physically removed from the tank — not diluted back into your water supply. Every gram extracted.
A solution of food-grade sodium hypochlorite (WHO-approved concentration) is applied uniformly across all internal surfaces. This is safe for potable water systems and self-neutralises during the subsequent fill cycle. No rinse required — no chemical residue in your stored water.
A UV-C lamp operating at 254nm is introduced into the tank for a timed exposure period. UV-C radiation disrupts the DNA of any remaining bacteria and viruses — without adding any chemical residue. Result: a biologically sterile water storage surface. Zero chemical footprint.
A final visual inspection is conducted. Our technician photographs the clean tank, completes the full checklist, and generates your numbered Hygiene Certificate on the spot. Format: #HWH-YYMMDD-NNN. The certificate is WhatsApped to you before the team leaves your property.
We invest in the right tools so the results speak for themselves. No improvised equipment. No corner-cutting.
High-pressure water evacuation, 500 LPH

WHO-grade, food-safe concentration
Surface-safe, no chemical residue
Biodegradable, non-toxic formula
Waterproof, for post-clean verification
Every chemical we use is safe for potable water infrastructure. We never use harsh acids, bleach above WHO-approved concentrations, or any substance that would require a rinse.
The gold standard disinfectant for potable water. WHO-approved concentration. Self-neutralising during the fill cycle — no residue remains in your stored water.
Food-contact safe formulation. Applied to walls, corners, and surface seams. No rinse required — safe for immediate refilling after application.
Biodegradable, non-toxic formula used on inlet/outlet fixtures and access hatches. No toxic VOCs, no harm to aquatic systems if drained.
We never use hydrochloric or muriatic acid for cleaning. Caustic chemicals damage tank lining and leave residue — we don't touch them.
All disinfectants are at WHO-approved concentrations for drinking water systems. We track dosage — it's part of the certificate documentation.
Material Safety Data Sheets for every chemical we use are available on request. We document everything — transparency is not optional.
The best equipment means nothing if the people using it aren't trustworthy. Every WaterHygiene technician meets a strict standard before they enter your property.
Every WaterHygiene technician passes a police verification check before joining the team. Non-negotiable.
Our team arrives in full WaterHygiene uniform — you know exactly who is in your property and who represents the brand.
Every technician carries a photo ID card with their name and employee number. Ask to see it — we actively encourage it.
We never outsource. Every person on your job is a Sunsaktech LLP employee. If we can't handle it in-house, we'll tell you upfront.
