These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Sunsaktech LLP operating as WaterHygiene (GSTIN: 29AFFFS4539E1ZR), including water tank cleaning, disinfection, and related services in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By booking a service with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
WaterHygiene provides professional water tank cleaning services including, but not limited to:
- Overhead tank (OHT) cleaning and disinfection
- Underground sump (UGS) cleaning and disinfection
- UV-C sterilisation treatment
- Issuance of a numbered Hygiene Certificate upon job completion
- Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for recurring service
All services are performed using food-grade chemicals and WHO-approved disinfection methods.
2. Booking and Confirmation
- Bookings are accepted via WhatsApp (+91-7411866162), phone, or our website contact form.
- A booking is confirmed only after we send you a written confirmation (via WhatsApp or email).
- We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.
- Same-day service is subject to technician availability in your area.
3. Pricing and Payment
- Prices quoted are inclusive of all chemicals, UV treatment, and the Hygiene Certificate unless otherwise stated.
- Quoted prices are estimates based on information provided. Final pricing may be adjusted on-site if tank capacity, contamination level, or access conditions differ materially from what was described.
- Payment is due on completion of the service, unless prior arrangements have been made in writing.
- We accept payment via UPI, bank transfer, or cash. GST invoice will be provided upon request.
- AMC pricing is locked for the contract period and is not subject to mid-term revision.
4. Customer Obligations
To enable us to perform the service safely and effectively, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your tank type, size, and location when booking.
- Ensure our technicians have safe and unobstructed access to the tank at the agreed time.
- Arrange for water supply to be available for the refill phase (or inform us in advance if this is not possible).
- Inform us of any known hazards at the property (e.g., electrical fittings, structural issues near the tank).
- Ensure an adult (18+) is present at the property during the service.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule a booking at no charge if you notify us at least 4 hours before the scheduled service time.
- Cancellations made with less than 4 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to ₹200 to cover logistics costs.
- If we are unable to attend due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., technician illness, extreme weather), we will reschedule at no extra charge.
6. Hygiene Certificate
- A numbered Hygiene Certificate is issued after every completed job, WhatsApped to the customer's registered number.
- The certificate documents that WaterHygiene's 6-step cleaning process was carried out on the stated date.
- The certificate is not a guarantee of the ongoing microbiological quality of your water supply, which depends on external factors including source water quality, pipe condition, and subsequent contamination.
- Re-issuance of lost certificates is available on request and may be subject to a nominal admin fee.
7. Liability
- WaterHygiene's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
- We are not liable for damage to tanks or property that was pre-existing or caused by latent structural defects that were not visible or disclosed at the time of service.
- Our technicians are trained to handle tanks safely. Any accidental damage caused directly by our team will be assessed and addressed on a case-by-case basis.
8. AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) Terms
- AMC contracts are valid for 12 months from the date of signing.
- Scheduled service visits will be arranged in advance with at least 48 hours' notice.
- AMC pricing covers the agreed number of visits per year. Additional visits are charged at the prevailing rate.
- AMC contracts are non-transferable to a different property unless agreed in writing.
- Early termination of an AMC by the customer will not entitle a refund for unused visits.
9. Photography and Records
- Our technicians photograph the inside of your tank before and after cleaning for quality assurance and your records.
- Photos are shared with you via WhatsApp. We may retain anonymised photos for internal training or marketing purposes. Property details are always anonymised before any public use.
- If you do not wish your tank photos to be used for marketing purposes, please inform us before the service.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the WaterHygiene website — including text, design, branding, and certificate templates — is the intellectual property of Sunsaktech LLP. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues amicably before initiating legal proceedings.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
